In 2004, BFM&L became one of the founding members of the alliance of Ibero-American legal firms AFFINITAS, which includes Garrigues Abogados y Asesores Tributarios (from Spain and Portugal with offices in New York, Miami, London, Shanghai, Varsovia, Casablanca, Tangier, among other cities around the world), Barros & Errázuriz Abogados (from Chile), Gómez-Pinzón Zuleta Abogados (from Colombia), Mijares, Angoitia, Cortes y Fuentes S.C. Abogados (from Mexico), and Miranda & Amado Abogados (from Peru).

In 2005 BFM&L also joined TAXAND, which today has more than 2000 tax professionals in almost 50 countries. Taxand provides high quality, integrated tax advice worldwide.
