Project Finance
The Firm has acted as lenders' counsel in the most sophisticated limited-recourse and non-recourse project finance transactions, designing complex security packages covering different kinds of assets such as pipelines, equipment, public services concessions, satellites, telecommunication licenses, receivables, oil and gas exploitation and transportation concessions.

In 2006, the Firm advised Citigroup Global Markets and Natexis Banques Populaires in a US$530 million structured financing granted to Argentina's leading aluminium producer, Aluar Aluminio Argentino.

In 2008 BFM&L represented Banco de la Provincia de Córdoba S.A., as arranger of what is considered the first energy infrastructure project being financed by the government's pension funds administrator as lender, in the US$300 million loan to Empresa Provincial de Energía de Córdoba.

In 2010 BFM&L advised Nucleoeléctrica Argentina S.A., Nación Fideicomisos S.A., Banco Macro S.A., Macro Securities S.A. Sociedad de Bolsa and Raymond James Sociedad de Bolsa S.A. in the issuance of trust securities by the Financial Trust "NASA" for an aggregate amount of approximately US$1.5 billion.
